No Grace Marks
All the students are informed that as per decision taken by H.S.B.T.E., there will be no provision for granting grace marks to the students of any semester w.e.f. of their examination to be held in Nov./Dec.-2012.
Criteria for Promotion to Higher Class w.e.f. 2011-12.
A student will be promoted to the next semester/next class irrespective of no. of re-appears/supplementary in different subjects provided that he/ she will not be allowed admission in 5th Semester if he/ she has not cleared all the sessionals and final exams of theory as well as practicals of 1st Semester. Similarly, a student will be allowed admission in 6th Semester only if he/ she has cleared all the sessionals and final exams of theory/ practicals of second Semester. The earlier condition of allowing students to appear in maximum 12 theory papers in one go in a Semester as stipulated by Haryana State Technical Education will continue.

HON’BLE PRIME MINISTER, REPUBLIC OF MAURITIUS, INAUGURATES 2ND BLOCK OF PRABHU DAYAL POLYTECHNIC
1. Dr Navinchandra Ramgoolam, Prime Minister, Republic of Mauritius Inaugurates the second block of Prabhu Dayal Polytechnic in the gracious presence of Mrs. Veena Ramgoolam on 8th of Feb. 2012.
2. Dr Navinchandra Ramgoolam, Prime Minister, Republic of Mauritius and his wife Mrs. Veena Ramgoolam were given a warm welcome on their way and at Prabhu Dayal Polytechnic, Barna, Kurukshetra on 8th of Feb 2012.
3. Various groups of Arya Samaj Sanyasi, Sanatni Pandit, Sikh Community, Christians, Muslims, Farmers, Social workers, Women activists and Educationists welcomed the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Republic of Mauritius, his wife and the accompanying delegation at Prabhu Dayal Polytechnic on 8-2-2012. They presented Vedas, Bhagwat Geeta, Turban, Saropa and Silver sword as a symbol of respect to the Hon’ble Prime Minister.
4. Trustees of Prabhu Dayal Educational Trust Dr. Ram Prakash, Chairman, Sh. Shailendra, Secretary and Mrs. Vijay Kumari, Member, honoured The Dr Navinchandra Ramgoolam, Prime Minister, Republic of Mauritius by presenting momentoes.
5. Dr Navinchandra Ramgoolam,Prime Minister Republic of Mauritius addressed the gathering at Prabhu Dayal Polytechnic on 8th of Feb. 2012 on the eve of his Civic Reception. He emphasized that politics should be based on principles. We must follow the teachings of Bhagwat Geeta in our life.
6. Dr Navinchandra Ramgoolam,Prime Minister Republic of Mauritius presented a momento to Er. Dev Raj Arora, founder Principal, in recognition of his services at Prabhu Dayal Polytechnic.
7. On behalf of Prabhu Dayal Polytechnic, Mrs. Asha Hooda W/o Ch. Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Chief Minister, Haryana presented a momento to Dr Navinchandra Ramgoolam, Prime Minister, Republic of Mauritius and his wife Mrs. Veena Ramgoolam.
